AmeriCorp Gearing Up for Large-Scale Marketing Campaign
Syosset, NY - August 12, 2002

AmeriCorp announced it is finalizing plans for an expansive marketing campaign aimed at reputable non-profit debt management agencies. As a leading provider of client management systems to the credit counseling industry, AmeriCorp is interested in partnering with firms that have been challenged by the flood of new requirements from both creditors and state regulators. The latest regulations and guide lines insist on investment in more sophisticated infrastructures that become harder to finance in the face of declining compensation from the creditors.

AmeriCorp has already built the sophisticated computer and call center technology necessary for success in the marketplace. Furthermore, the company offers the benefit of economy of scale, the quantity discounting resulting from being grouped with all the agencies AmeriCorp services. CEO Tim McCallan states that the company intends to target only agencies that have demonstrated strong business ethics and legitimate concern for consumers with debt problems. Those agencies that pass through the intense screening process will find that they can devote their efforts to counseling and debt reduction while AmeriCorp frees them from the costly and more complicated processing of clientele. The campaign will be active and aggressive, drawing together like-minded and responsible non-profits into a community that will survive into the future.
