AmeriCorp Goes Public with Its Corporate Values
Syosset, NY - August 2, 2002

Americorp today made public a system of internal values reflecting the company's stress on professional ethics. Tim McCallan, president and CEO of AmeriCorp, said management had worked long and hard to put together a value statement that might be used as a focus for activity in the workplace. Mr. McCallan added, "I have complete faith that with these values we can achieve the highest levels of customer service, service to our employees and service to each other." The executive considers the formal system as "terms of engagement," a call to arms in a constantly changing industry. The system of values concentrates on the following: Accountability, Motivation, Efficiency, Respect, Initiative, Communication, Optimism, Reliability, and Pride. AmeriCorp's Values are openly displayed on the company web site with expanded commentary on each value. The assertion of this value system is consistent with AmeriCorp's determination to become ISO certified within the next year.
