Americorp, Inc. today announced that it has formed a strategic business alliance with CreditSoft, a Florida-based software provider of fully integrated systems designed specifically for the credit counseling industry. The union is the result of AmeriCorp's lengthy search for an application that would outperform others in the linkage of departmental operations and the management of a rapidly increasing client base.

CreditSoft's innovative design allows, amongst other capabilities, for the electronic transmittal of payments and proposals to creditors, a capacity that will streamline service to the client and earn such incentives for the counseling firms as higher Fair Share percentages and accelerated response times from CCCS departments. At the same time, AmeriCorp's ongoing dedication to improving the quality of its service will provide Creditsoft with concepts for system improvements, which in turn can be marketed to the debt management industry-at-large.

"The goal is to grow together while we maximize both the efficiency and the available funding for our clients," commented AmeriCorp's president, Mr. Tim McCallan. "Our target date for a full conversion from our existing system to Credisoft's latest version is in six months."
