AmeriCorp, Inc. Sponsors ISO Quality Systems Seminar for Credit Counselors

Less than two weeks after being recommended for ISO certification, AmeriCorp Inc. is spreading the gospel of quality management. The company has invited the ten credit counseling agencies that are its clients to a special seminar beginning today at the Huntington Hilton. Over a three-day period, the agency delegates will be formally introduced to the ISO standards for Quality Management Systems (QMS). AmeriCorp has promoted the gathering because of its own strong focus on both customer and creditor satisfaction and the continuous improvement of its service.

By encouraging its client agencies to adapt ISO standards, AmeriCorp expects an increase in satisfied clients in each of the debt management programs it supports. The company also believes that creditors will see overall improvement in the handling of their debt made possible by the thorough education and counseling of program applicants according to ISO requirements.
