CLIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Job description:

    Basic function:
  • Works with client service team members to answer questions regarding client account status.
  • Resolves issues relating to client account status and ensures that the client is aware of appropriate processing procedures.
  • Develops and maintains effective client communications and ensures client satisfaction and improvement in client retention.
    Essential Responsibilities:
  • Responds to client phone calls and investigates, researches, analyzes and resolves problems. Responds to client requests relating to products or services.
  • Calls clients on a proactive basis to ensure customer satisfaction and retention and makes sure that current product features are being utilized and understood.
    Qualifications:
  • Previous client service experience in a call center environment preferred.
  • Previous experience in finance preferred.
  • Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be well organized and have excellent follow-through skills.
  • Must be familiar with and have used PC-based products, preferably in a Windows environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years experience taking inbound calls.

Community Involvement

At AmeriCorp we believe in giving back to the community. AmeriCorp has a Charity Committee chaired by our Chief People Person with employee volunteers making up the rest of the committee. Some of the charities that have been assisted this year are the EAC (Education and Assistance Corporation) Meals on Wheels Program, The Foundation for Missing and Exploited Children, Tuesdays Children (benefits the children of 9/11 victims), Long Island Blood Services and Toys for Tots.
